The best one I've heard is the one that's integrated into the Dynaudio Air system. You don't even notice it's there (until it's off, that is)

My work around is to run soft synths on another machine and run audio from the soundcard into PTs. I did this right away when I realized Direct Connect sucked.

My advice, if you're going to master yourself, is to tread very lightly on the material. Be very conservative with all of the processing.

Also, don't squash with L2 other limiter.

Try coaching them, i.e. not having them skreech. I find that not-so-good singers...

I just purchased an KSP8 with adat card. I'm probably going to try and clock using lightpipe. I'll post what I find and after I comapre bnc/wordclock vs. lightpipe.

For the record. Lexicon simply licensed their name and didn't develop the Lexiverb. Not that matters if you like it; But don't confuse it with a Lexicon reverb.
