Why educate about this? It seems clear as a morningstar to me that a higher sample rate is a waste.
But I really don´t mind, same result with less strain on my disks...

Yes, it´s the EQ I´m thinking of in the first place when mixing. If thera are good filters in the console it saves power and hopefully sounds better.

I recorded my wife playing solo cello today to test a Neumann tlm49 through a UAD Solo tube pre and to my 002 rack.
I could absolute hear differnce between 24/44 and 24/96. She played the same piece...

The Sibelius integration is a nice thing and like spkguitar says, if want to use another app
you have to export a midifile and then import it. Not a big deal.

Loud noise looping with Reason 3

Hi!
When I play a loop with the midi in PT to Reason 3 I get a total burst in volume
when the loop starts over. The meters goes sooo red.

PTLE with Xpand will for sure get you started.
It´s free also.
I´m always start out with Xpand when composing or need something fast.
It has a lot of good sounds and is rather easy on the cpu too....
