oh yeah, i also did the troubleshooting tip: trashed my PT prefs from the library and repaired disc permissions. but i'm still aprehensive about bouncing larger files. time will tell INDEED.

yes indeed. PT and p-ins on system drive. some say PT is more stable if you move your current session to your system drive as well and merely store on the F/W drive. this is untested for me though...
