It is rather interesting that AAXDSP and DigiGrid topics were completely ignored in this interview. Furthermore, Amir Vinchi of Waves seems rather uncomfortable in the video.

I was thinking about this just the other day.
Not just instrument but even for MIDI tracks to be able to toggle between the MIDI data and the printed audio.
Don't know how it would be implemented...

actually there is a shortcut for new posters who've never read the reference manual. first download the manual, buss your brain into it and observe the basics of using pt before posting.

same here!
all is working fine on g5 2ghz, no problems at all.
dp has done a great job with 4.5
obviously there will be problems (as with any other program) but so far it has been working flawless...

I don't think Apple will gain much by acquiring Apogee since Apogee is predominantly focused on high-end audio interfaces.
On the other hand MOTU would be a better investment for them since MOTU...

ReCycle and Live are 2 different beasts.
In your case I'd say get Recycle first and get Live down the line.
Nevertheless, I have a feeling that PT along with many others will start integrating...

draging songs from the cd usually works just fine.
unless you want to hit outboard processors before printing to pt.

Perhaps Rock solid but you will end up paying more for add-ons in the long run.
Just get a more up to date computer on e-bay or something and work without headaches at least for a while.

People have the luxury to use any mixing or summing box to make their mixes quote “sound good”.... well if they pay at least $60K just for an SSL console.... compare that to a whole PT HD3 system...
