Need urgent help - hdx crashing

I have a Mac Pro 8 core 2.93 with 24 gb Ram - running OS 10.7.4 - EVERYTHING UP TO DATE - LATEST pRO TOOLS 10.2 AND LATEST FIRMWARE ON MY AVID OMNI .....
Everytime I switch my computer on and load...

I've been offered an 8 core 2.26 Nehalem Mac Pro at a great price with 32 gb ram but can also have a Westmere Mac Pro 6 core 3.33ghz for £1000 more with 16gb ram.
The 3.33 maybe the better machine...

Harpertown 2008 models WILL NOT WORK ON HDX - this has been confirmed by Max as it wipes the card on firmware updates - not sure about Macs before but everything 2009 is fine......

MAX - One other oversight - what about the people who are prepared to move from TDM to Native but especially HDX - as HDX is not out yet the only way they can have PT10 is to buy or join the support...

Max has been kind enough to reply to me - HARPERTOWN MACS will not work with HDX - will blank the card so it's a no no due to firmware issues..... - so it's a big ouch from me...

I guess they think that as the older interfaces won't work everyone needs an interface and the only officially supported ones are the new Avid ones. I guess adding an interface into the deal keeps...

I agree with everything above too - and I would n't be here if I didn't like Pro Tools but what I hate is that I feel the best method to upgrade is to actually sell my rig on ebay and start again as...
