I'll just answer a few of your comments:

- ADC enabled
- ignore errors unchecked
- USB
- latest driver was causing the Orion to glitch into some driver...

Hey,

adding onto this older thread. I'm having this same issue at the moment. Using an Orion32+ Gen3.

With my Orion32 gen1 I always had to manually add insert delay to line up (analog) outboard...

Workarounds are nice to know for the time being but the only way forward here is for them to just fix it and make it work smooth without...

I was wrong about the shortcut, it's cmd+alt+shift+n.
This way you don't need to drag & drop and the tracks that are being moved automatically get routed to the new folder.

Been having the same bug over and over again:

- select one or multiple tracks
- cmd+shift+n -> stereo routing folder

followed by a complete crash of PT.
