Hi,

I have seen odd sync scenarios happen when delivering bwav files. Some audio and video systems will act upon the metadata and perfom the appropriate pull if the header isn't an expected frame...

CYeah, Nuendo 4 is reported to have a tremendous Media Pool device. So much so that a friend told me he put off buying Soundminer after he previewed it.

Excellent sagely advice Transfer time being a little slower shouldn't hamper your process as long as the reciprocating studio adjusts its hours to accomodate the transfer time and doesn't negatively...

Trim... VCAs... Write to start/end/all...

And true 5.1 integration. Mix 51 is not much better than setting up auxes for performing...

Scott,Working on my laptop I find it great. I can keep tracks tiny and auto expand only the track I'm editing on. Not drastic expansion, just from tiny to workable.

Check the Compato Docs on the Digi site. It doesn't matter what machine you use, recording to the system drive is not supported. It directly affects ProTools performance.
