Re: PT loses midi connection
Update: Restarting the MidiServer via Activity Monitor seems to work to avoid having to restart after PT crashes, which is EVERY TIME I use MIDI.

Re: PT loses midi connection
I’m having a similar issue on Ventura w both 2023.12 and 2024.3. It is an issue at the midi server level. Same as op, basically all midi stops working on all devices. I can see my midi interfaces...

Re: M-Audio Midi Driver Removal / PT 2024
Can’t disagree, but for $400/yr, they should be providing a modern, functional way to operate plugins with midi controllers. If they don’t want to, they should incorporate Mulligan into the software....

Re: M-Audio Midi Driver Removal / PT 2024
In the same boat here. Removing the driver has blown up my workflow for mixing by breaking both V-Control Pro and Mulligan. I wouldn’t be upset if PT offered those functions in-house. But they don’t....

Re: PT 2024.3 | Released
Which is why Avid should buy Mulligan from Leigh and incorporate it into PT. People want to control plugins with knobs and Mulligan is the best implementation of this so far. If they want to ditch...

Re: PT 2024.3 | Released
V-Control also used M-audio protocol w HUi tho Neyrinck is working to separate the two.
I think the point that Avid is missing here is that it is not used “just” for two keyboards, but it was...

Oh no! Why has the M-Audio Keyboard protocol been removed from the Peripherals Midi window? This disables both V-Control Pro and Mulligan for me. Please bring this back!

Boz Digital’s Gatey Watey is a frequency-dependent gate. Might work. Still not Apple Silicon native tho.

Just select one blob. Then you should have the option to change the algo. This will by definition do it for the whole file.

Eric, slightly OT, but does M-Tron Pro have a bass clarinet patch. I’ve only used it in a real Mellotron and haven’t found an emulation yet.
