Re: free ADR cueing software

PETE,

you are the absolute best!!! Thanks so much. I use EdiCue often but there are instances where I'm at a computer without a license and need to print cue sheets. This is amazing.

Re: protools 10 11 12 non HD compatibility

Re: YouTube loudness specs?

It's becoming convention these days to target around -16 for LU and some set the ceiling to -1 and some to -2. I think it's taste. Certainly data conversions can toss peaks above 0, things like...

Re: Neyrinck Soundcode LTRT Latency Issue

Yep, can confirm. Sucks huh?

and even worse, it's not exactly 1/2 frame so you can't just nudge back .5

Re: Stereo to Mono options

From Geo on GS..

and, if phase issues are heard, maybe try changing the phase on some of the tracks, like a stereo shift or a tiny bit of verb

Re: Advice on setting up for Post

reichman - Thanks for the info on the zones, haven't tried it yet.I agree that it's unlikely that we're saturating the bus. I am running 2 monitors and a OWC Thunderraid on the 3rd zone which gives...

Re: Advice on setting up for Post

Question about t-tap and thunderbolt - specifically the mac trash can.

I've been reading about a better sync with it, but the trash can runs on zoned thunderbolt + HDMI - maybe this is mostly for...

Re: Cannot play video from network drives

Had you been using video from ETHERNET server before?

God, can't imagine why you would want to. Unless you're on a large back plane switch, traffic will halt you in your tracks.

I know storing...

Re: Something removed the gunk from my monitor chain

Been reading about them. Monitoring control too right, improved routing and a better B chain. Kinda like the black lion for the 003 plus functionality.

You simply replacing the xmon or using for...

Re: Issues with a new style of dialog editing (in Premiere)

Lot's of time (depending on project) I delete that automation. It's often nuts. also, they double tracks for more volume.

I usually get the idea of mix by copying OMF in and looking at that below...

Re: CMS Sub calibration

If the sub is a bass managed speaker then disregard, but if it's a true LFE, check out a great thread over at gearslutz, it's on LFE setup and it's pretty exhaustive. It goes into the 10db gain issue

They are inter-changeable with - numbers in opposite direction from 0. so +12 is -8 all...

Look at the C4 documentation, it explains the upward expansion process. If you want to go wide bad, then the c1 will work just as well. You get a nice range factor to help

Re: fixing mouth noises (smacks, clicks)
