Re: Mastering question

Thanks Tom, I knew there was a reason for it. Having said that, if I use the quicker method I can remove the plugs on the master fader if I ever need to go to a pro mastering suite.

GTBannah - I...

Re: ILOK

So I'm getting some gear together for a new band project and have got a bunch of pedals ready to be fixed to my pedal board. How would you have them arranged? This is what I thought but I'd welcome...

Re: Digi001 Help.

6.4 does support Rewire but in my experience you'll only have one stereo out pair and the rest will be mono (no biggie if you don't mind using two seperate tracks for stereo). I believe there is a...

Is it just one seesion that won't btd or all of them?
You could try the old trick of trashing digi databases and prefs and then restarting.

Re: Reason/Rewire does not show up in plugin list

Have the same problem. I have Gigastudio showing up but no Reason. If I close Giga and reboot, Reason shows up. Have a feeling it might be my last Gigastudio update but haven't had time to check yet....

Re: buffer bouncing problems

Might not be a buffer issue - I had the same problem recently. Try trashing prefs and digidatabases then restarting your computer. You won't need to do this for every bounce, just the occasional one....

Re: out put level problem

Under 'Options' / PreFade Listening. You could also benefit from reading the manual - all this kind of stuff is covered therein and would save you a lot of grief!

Re: out put level problem

Make sure you're recording in PreFade Listening mode and playing back post fade, ie, with pfl unchecked. If you haven't already done so, create a master fader channel, set the fader to unity and...

Re: No wav after bounce to disk

Have you done a search for the bounced .wav file? Could be saved somewhere else, happens to me sometimes. I also found trashing Prefs and Digi databases worked with one session that wouldn't bounce.

Re: Getting Rid Of Digital Clipping After The Fact

Are you sure this isn't your mic overloading? Does it have a pad switch you could try? And with regard to your bounces sounding low in level, are you using a master fader (possibly with a...
