They're not mixed, they're nearly unanimously positive. Keep in mind that an M2 Max is essentially just a faster M1 processor but with half the power of an equivalent M2 Ultra. It's about speed, NOT...

My trashcan is on its 11th year. 9 years as a studio machine and now 2 years as a Plex & Roon server. Not a single issue and still serving the family quite well.
