64-bit PTLE

Is there a 64-bit of Protools LE?

I'm not asking whether it will run on Windows 7 64-bit system, but rather the program itself is 64-bit.

Three pieces of information don't jive:

1. I asked...

Re: Is ANYONE successfully using the mbox2 on windows 7?

I finally got my mbox 2 mini working on windows 7 64 bit by installing the 8.0.4 upgrade to a base 8.0.3 installation. The 8.0.3 worked fine in ProTools, but there was no ASIO in reaper nor windows...

Re: missing plugs in audiosuite list

Hi,

I installed the demo and never re-installed Amplitube when I received the package, only authorized it. I'll try re-installing from the CD that came with it.

Thanks,

John.

Re: How do I insert a compressor on Digi001?

Hi,

There is no way I know of to print a compressor without using an external mic pre like you're doing. Inserting an RTAS comp won't affect what goes to disk -- unless you do some creative...

Re: missing plugs in audiosuite list

Huh,

Amplitube has an audiosuite version? I had no idea. It has never shown up in my list. That is one of my 'thorns' with IK multimedia.

Re: Rackmount 002 feature request. :) MISSION COMPLETE!

No preamps?

If I remember correctly, the reason I originally bought the 001 over the M-Audio system WAS the two preamps. I'd like 8 in the 003.

If the 003 was pretty much of a ripoff of the...

Re: cpu indicator floating - 9128

Hi,

I've gotten that annoying cpu bouncing thing with Amplitube and Autotune together and separately depending on which way the wind is blowing. Usually I can loose a few different plug-ins to...

Re: Any Good Mastering Software for Pro Tools

Hey Von,

I've never used Wavelab -- Just curious why a mastering 'program' is better than a PT session with Waves Plug-ins? Does Wavelab have extra features -- and if so, what are they?

Re: how do u mix a song????

Hiya,

I always seem to do drums + bass, and then the lead vocal before the guitars or sweetening. I started doing this a few years ago when my tendancy was to push guitars up too loud and ended...

Re: Discrete Drums?

Hi,

I bought discrete drums and was somewhat disappointed. The sounds and performances were great, don't get me wrong. The problem was that we attempted to introduce the beats a long time after...

Re: Positioning a Rack?

Hi,

Tube stuff doesn't like to live on it's side sometimes (heat problems). Most electronic stuff doesn't care. But then again, the sound might come out of the speakers sideways.

Waves PAZ after L1

Hi folks,

A simple question (hopefully). I master with an L1 (dithering to 16 bits, etc.) last in the chain and I want to put PAZ after it to monitor the results. Does PAZ affect the signal at...

Re: Possible to monitor only certain tracks?

Hi,

That delay is called latency by tech-geeks. I don't know of any decent way to get rid of it completely -- if I remember correctly, low-latency mode disables aux sends. I also remember...

Yeah, same thing here. No matter where I save my settings, it comes on with it's default. It's a nice feature that will probably eventually cause me to have to replace my monitors when it...

Re: Importing a section of a song.

Hi,

I'm pretty sure you can drag multiple files from the region screen to the edit window. I've done this with discrete drums (8 at a time). I believe the track order has to line up. You select...

Re: This is what the other half thinks.

Hi,

You said that the Digi001 does not work with any other hardware. This is not true. In one year when a 4.5 GHz p4 chip comes out, my digi will probably work with it; just in the same way that...
