I keep getting a (Not Responding) On ProTools Quicktime Server...I don't do any video on my PT11 sessions, how come this thing keeps starting up?

Fresh install of Mavericks and PT 11, still the same problem. I've tried the optimizing Mavericks for Pro Tools that's recommended in the guides.

I don't have an SSD, and I am not recording on an external SSD. Mine is the regular 5400rpm drive the laptop came with.

PT 10 worked awesome...I have 16 gigs of ram and PT 11 now and it's slow as...

I was thinking the plugin thing too. I'll try your suggestion in rebuilding the submix track after deleting it. Hopefully that'll solve it.

Well it's only like 24 tracks if not less. Im running it on a 8 gig ram, 2.3 ghz i7 quadcore Macbook pro. I doubt it's CPU, i've ran bigger sessions. It's just this one in particular keeps...
