"tab" goes to end of a clip IF tab to transient is off
"up" goes to end of a clip IF clip is selected.
"w" goes to end of a clip IF view centering is what's desired.

I use all of these whenever....

To be clear, Opt + F centers view on edit cursor and/or a time selection (and zooms for me).

On the other hand, (Edit Keyboard Focus enabled), Q centers view on selection start and W centers view...

That is strange.... When I do sort operations on some clips, it makes sense to me. I'm not sure what the exact state of your file and clip names are or why it doesn't make sense for you.

One mistake I made:

See screenshot regarding difference between File Name and Disk Name....


Disk name is the volume (your hard drive), meaning you'd have to sort by Disk Name THEN another...
