It would be hard to imagine that it works with 002 since the software is the same for 001 and 002..

The issue is on XP. If you run LE 5.31 for XP and Xpress DV 3.5 you will get an error on Xpress that says "Can't find entry Point" and it will not allow you to boot Xpress DV.
