free upgrade to PT8 when buying Mbox micro?

hi there
i'm thinking about buying the Mbox micro instead of the upgrade from 7.1 to 7.4. but the upgrade comes with a free upgrade to 8. what about the mbox? is PT8 free too?

in that case it's obvious that they would recommend you to switch to logic (logic = apple).

my opinion about the pricing: you pay for the time you use it.
f.e. i bought ableton 5 and upgraded to 6. i paid more than the people who bought live 6 as newbies. but i'm happy that i had version 5...

i have a protools 002R at home but i work in a studio where there is only DP 4.6.
lots of advantages if you have DP - so if my 002R dies, i'll make the switch.

advantages DP : no dongle, works...

if you have ableton live lite version (ignition pack), try live. import the mix on an audio track, and select the file. choose "complex warp mode" for best quality. speed up the bpm and listen...

i never got a nice reverb out of renaissance either. if i want a simple reverb on the vocals, i think d-verb does the job pretty well.

i don't know those, but i heard apptrigga is worth considering too. it's only vst, so you'll need a vst-rtas convertor too. but apptrigga is pretty cheap.

if you click the click plugin, you can change volumes of the accented sound and the unaccented sound - make sure both are on the same level, and you have no accents.
