Yeah, good one as well.
Wouldn't be enough for me though, I often adjust stuff in preview while not having a selection.
I often tweak in preview, hit capture, make the selection and punch capture....

Everything is added during playout and controlled by the on-air scheduling system.. I'd have to ask exactly how it's done.

I think an easier workaround would be to set up a watchfolder, and have a small ffmpeg script change the TC on all files you drop in there.

something like ffmpeg -i FILE -c:v copy -c:a copy...

I had this once recently while recording the DAMF onto a network share.

Switched to the internal SSD, everything worked.

No idea if this was a one-time glitch or if it would happen regularly...
