I can't imagine what kind of chip that costs $150. I've had my Proteus go down a couple of times and it was a simple diode. Check out some local tv or electronic repair shops and they should be able...

Been thinking about buying "Trilogy". Is it what the reviews claim? I want to run it independently on a G3. What kind of sound card do I need to run this thing.

Why did your board blow? Are you sure thats the problem? If so, its probably that funky voltage your country runs on. Be careful, this stuff was made to run in the good old USA.

You may be able to add another I/O without a problem, but I guarentee if you add another farm you will lose NuVerb
