Glad you got it worked out. Apple Partition Map or GUID will work with both PPC or Intel Macs if it is not the boot drive. If you are setting up a boot drive then it matters--APM for PPC and GUID...

Well I would think if you go 800->400 for the drive and 400->400 for the interface you should be ok. Heck just for grins try running the drive with USB 2.0, I know it's not supported but I have...

The iMacs use a mobile processor and the mobile version of the i7 is not due till the end of the year or so.

I do agree that even with multiple cores RTAS and PT still cannot use these cores...

It looks like they may be trying to add true native support of the RTAS platform rather than having to wrap the plug ins. I saw that RTAS was not supported...yet but still thought this product was...

I feel your pain, I started with LE then went HD and now I use M-Powered with the 48 track option. When I combine either Reason, Live, or Logic I can get the job done. But I think Digi has held...

TDM users should have an iLok asset that allows unlimited tracks on LE.
