I can confirm it works with HD Native PCIe in my MP but as you suggested the bump up in software is probably needed. IIRC 2019.10 was when support for the DAB was introduced.

If a device says 64 i/o that usually refers to the total number of channels in and out. If they're referencing Dante i/o specifically then that should mean the total number of Dante...

Have you stored the assignments you've selected as a layout? You can make assignments but to make them recallable they must be stored as a layout first.

I don't have 16 faders to test this on but do you have "Bank by Whole Surface" checked in the General tab in EuControl Settings? Seems like disabling this might give you the results you're looking...
