Yes, I pulled the trigger and went NI 9 ultimate for 50% myself.
Make sure you pay attention the the problems in 11 though. Apparently the timing is not so good in Kontakt AAX64 if the buffer is not...

Well I'm using blue192 digital I/O's with PT11HD
But I sold my SYNC's as I heard directly from a dealer that they would not work at all.
But I did not try it as I sold them to buy my hdx rig.

No - I heard them say HEAT requires TDM still. You can work on your edits and mix anywhere - but the final mix lay down will have to wait until HEAT (or analog summing) is active in the larger studio...
