yeah, something about a few fundamental analog synths can make the whole track sound way less "in the box". usually just takes a few sounds off the juno 60
I do a LOT of stuff off my my virus...

I work in pop music production. The most common soft synths that seem to have sounds that translate to pop are synths like sylenth, massive, and nexus (yes I know its a romper not a synth).

You need to turn keyboard focus on. Small button in upper right of edit window, looks like a little "a/z". Its probably greyed out. Click it and it should turn yellow and those commands will work...

When processing clips with sound toys speed with the trimmer/timestretch tool, the audio renders out of sync.
I was guessing maybe it has something to do with the new handles feature, but not sure...

agreed w/ the quantize the kick drum separately, make sure when you track you have some sort of isolation for the kick, like a kick drum tunnel. (two music stands and a few moving blankets can work),...

i guess this preference moved, used to be in display under preferences, but apparently if you "command" click the grid next to the transport in the edit window it toggles the grid view on and off,...

I'll use the L2007 for the bus comp on some pop/electronic music stuff, i wouldn't really call it mastered tho, otherwise i'll use it just for parallel compression on the drums , works really good...

i dont master my own stuff but if I did...
a quality master bus compressor is what really makes the difference for me, the X rack G series compressor (i think thats what its called) works great...

TL space sounds surprisingly good to me, the low end response sounds more realistic than most digital reverbs, I also like Revibe for vocal stuff and a lot of the presets are very usable
