Why is PT9 asking for authorization twice upon startup?

I have been struggling with assertion error that I can't seem to get past. Tried everything from the numerous posts dealing with this issue, and nothing working.

it won't let me open a new session or an old session - anyone else fix this?

I have tried trashing prefs/database, doesn't seem like a clean install will correct this type of problem...

bump, exact same error code in PT 9/Digi 002R

This happened 2-3 weeks after installing PT9...no new plugs, although have been having a fit with AutoTune7 and authorization, fwiw

I do have 1.1.1 - I need to edit my post, thanks for catching that. Addictive simply not working at all for me. Once I moved AD plugin out of the folder, PT 8 working completely fine for me.

solved my problem -- installed 7.4.2 full release. I previously had 7.4.2pr

Simple fix for me: install the full 7.4.2 version, not the pr (pre-release) !! Solved all my glitchiness so far...

I also have been having similar issues and I don't have any answers - but as I mentioned in another thread, the 7.4.2 PT/OSX 10.5.3 seems to be accessing my Firewire data drive an excessive amount,...

I'm not helping here (sorry!) but adding my name to the list having issues with 7.4.2

The above problems plus I noticed it is accessing my Firewire data drive like crazy - even when things aren't...

7.4 and Mac OSX 10.5.2 working on my Mac mini digi rack 002

1. upgraded ReWire to latest version http://www.propellerheads.se/
2. made sure that Melodyne was also latest version http://www.celemony.com
3. upgraded to PT LE 7.4 cs3
4. started up without...
