are you saying only folders can be renamed in WE? if I rename (in WE) a session (.ptf) file and/or as well some of the audio files - that would then be a problem?

when I want to import a complete session into a blank new session created with a template (same track layout) I don't seem to be able to choose the destination - available as choices are only (blank)...

ahh, well, I did this, the icon is on the tray, but after starting up ProTools and I try Ctrl+- nothing happens. Shift+Esc does turn it red, and right clicking on the icon does bring up the Exit...

absolutely! this is such a common studio technique that it really should have a simple plug-in

another (probably very basic though ... sorry) question:

I use Create Click Track from the Track...
