Combining PT 7 and Logic on same machine?

AHA!! But since I am not mixing inside of PT (using a Trident), this probably will help me get a better signal from DIGI 001s converters.

I'll try to make an A/B-test and come back with results.

1. From Digi 001 SPDIF to Trident Series 80
2. From said desk to DIGI 001 or other mastering format

Hi,
You loose dynamic feel thats for sure. IMHO it's probably due to the summing of the signals, not the conversion to whatever format/bit depth.

Thanks, Thin Ice - I now realize this (importing from other sessions) is what I've done when experiencing problems (well, BIG problems) with deleting the "unused" data.

Well, I surely would, but recording takes place in remote and non-studio environment. Will you schlep the Trident and the 2" for me? ;-)
