I ned to change to the rack version. Can I just buy and run a 002Rack?

Thanks for the suggestions, I already tried that with the 'new hardware found' prompt with my PT8, PT7, and PT 6.1 install CDs and DVDs but I will retry with your other suggested method, thx brother!...

thanks for great replies, went over to the Mac forum to see how great those machines are, but it seems that at least based on D-verb tests they sure don't exceed the best of the intel quad.

some sticky beginnings seem out of date,
some threads seem to concentrate on AMD ,
whilst others on core2 processors.

I just want to get the most powerful computer available regardless of type....
