I had this problem with the canopus & had to go back to 8.01 because it went as far as corrupting sessions. I wouldn't risk waiting for a fix.

I've now got confirmation from tech support that's it a bug. Whatever functionality they may have changed or added, ALL needs to mean ALL. Or, "No Tracks Left Behind!" Right now it's a mess.

PT 8.01 Option Copy Midi - Disappearing Notes

Recently upgraded to 8. I am finding that Option-Copying midi notes will often cause the 'parent' note to disappear. So I have to go back & repeat it. I work fast and PT no longer seems to keep up...

Except if the software can convert to a DV stream on the fly, as it plays. This was possible in 2004 according to some articles on SimpleVideoOut. Wishful thinking? Maybe indeed!
