Consider, no older version of PT is going to run on any current OS on either Mac or Windows. BUT; older sessions(if NOT done with SD II format audio) should open on any newer version of PT:o

Agree with all of this. Setting power plan to best performance is what you should be doing anyway(in addition to the "everything on" advice, no sleep, no hibernate, no drive spin-down and no monitor...
