I had this same problem, digitest did not see the HDX card which means it's a driver issue, or your card is bad. I knew my card was good so... here's what worked:

Yeah I really feel like AVID is the Donald Trump of DAW manufacturers. "Pro Tools is going to be tremendous, so tremendous, it will be the best DAW in the world"..

We can only hope they make Pro...

I guess that's my my point, that while no DAW is perfect, every other major DAW has way more features and charges NO FEES for updates, while Pro Tools HD fees are very high and they aren't even...

Hi there,

Yes I sure have... I also use Studio One, Live, Logic & Reason and you're right. But... The feature set of these other DAWs are light years ahead of Pro Tools... The MIDI implementation...

So, like many here, my HD Subscription plan was coming to an end.

I've been running 12.5.2 successfully and wasn't really sure if I should go to 12.6 after reading about all the issues / bugs...

What is incredibly unacceptable and frustrating is that AVID WILL NOT COMMENT on the issue!!!

I NEVER had these issues with my HD3 system, but then again I stopped at PT10 on that one.

I then upgraded to HDX on the 4,1 and immediately started to get the...

I've seen the issue on 4,1 and 5,1 MacPros. All different OS's and versions of PT11.

Not having worked with HDX and a Trash Can, I can't say for sure.

Don't think it's Kensington. I have done consulting gigs with HDX MacPro 5,1 systems that threw errors constantly and they had no Kensington products installed / attached.

AVID has tried posting suggestions to fix the problem but none of them have worked.
