Absolutely same thing happened today with me!! Spend about 1.5 hour with Avid support on phone with no luck!!! Can somebody help with this???

Now it's working fluid! Not sure, because of latest Yosemite upgrade or Pro Tools 12.1, but no Quartz Debug anymore :)

I'm experiencing same issues with nMP 6.1 3.5Ghz (6 core, "trashcan") with AMD D500 graphics. Quartz Debug with disabling Beam resolves laggy faders fully, but I want to see more comfort solution...
