Re: 8.1 Anyone?

I've installed 8.1 cs1 with a bit of fear, because my setup didn't work with cs3 at all, even with one stereo track and no plug-ins. With 8.1cs1 everything is OK, no problems so far (more than a...

Re: Went back to 8.0 cs3, smooth sailing!

Re: Went back to 8.0 cs3, smooth sailing!

First - thank you for answers.

Second - yes, you are right - " it's computer configuration at 'fault' with 6031's" but the problem is much deeper IMO - who cares how you call it, 6031, "disk too...

Re: Went back to 8.0 cs3, smooth sailing!

Re: I don't feel so ripped off anymore

This is the only thing that comes to mind, because nothing else changed. I had FastLane installed before, but not plugged for a long time. I understand, that when it is unplugged, Pro Tools cannot...

Re: I don't feel so ripped off anymore

Maybe in that case you should use another word instead of how Pro Tools works? :p

No, Kaspersky is always ON.

One thing - I used MIDI on that day - ie I tried to use it. I mean I switched...

Re: I don't feel so ripped off anymore

One thing - I've tried to record piano with minigrand via MIDI (MOTU Fastlane USB), didn't use virtual instruments before, for weeks... Was it MIDI and MiniGrand?

Re: Bouncing w/VSO

Of course it won't change it's speed that way, because both session and bounced file are clocked to that clock... You can transpose bounced file destructively with those settings.

Re: I don't feel so ripped off anymore

Thanks for answer. I'm afraid that I didn't write it clear enough, excuse my language. I used 8.0.1 from the day it appeared and it worked smooth. All of sudden this 6031 appeared - I switched off...
