I think windows 11 may have AVB support in the works. Presonus seems to have it working on ethernet, MOTU uses a USB connection for AVB windows. Not sure why Avid can't do it. I'm sure there is more...

Absolutely! I was definitely looking at all the transformer options. But I just loved the sound of the carbon. And like I said above, HEAT adds any of that mojo I need. :)

I have been using 32 bit. As advertised the converter is native 32 bit. I'm not sure if I can tell a difference. But I do feel like there's a hint more dynamic range. This could be good or bad...

I love how you can tap the speaker button on the interface to turn it red, and mute the speakers. I wish you could do this with the headphones in some way, maybe a knob press, long press or a double...

I agree. I was looking so forward to tracking my drum set with HEAT in real-time. It's why I purchased the carbon.

It's a total bummer that this decision was made to disable it during hybrid...

Fold back aliasing, and fold back distortion. I use lots of saturation, overdrive, and distortion plug-ins. These types of plug-ins sound horrible at low sample rates.

I'm just curious if any users are working at 192K with the carbon. What kind of DSP mileage you're getting out of your favorite plug-ins. Hows is the CPU usage? How you're liking the sound.

I just bought a carbon to work at 192khz. Using the "hybrid engine" for tracking. I love the sound of the 192khz sample rate. Specifically for distortion and saturation-based effects. Foldback...

Interesting, have you tried any of his other plug-ins like RA or Peacock on M1?
I wonder if it's an issue with his codebase. Or just phoenix.
