Probably true but not in every case. If a date is hard coded <MM-DD-YY> versus <date> it might not change for some displays (these tags are a simplification). Such as calendar apps and spreadsheet...

I would prefer

"October 24, 2022"

to either 10/24 or 24/10.

So there you go, in fact I prefer even more so that the engineers do nothing about this quite irrelevant issue.
