You’d think that, wouldn’t you? I haven’t been able to find one, but I’d love to. Searched for “S1 teardown” and “S1 repai.” Any other ideas for search terms?

Yeah, cutting it down with any precision would be difficult. :-)

Affixing the S1 guts to the bottom of a custom steel panel might be an option. Hard to plan without knowing what's inside. I can...

Eight channels of an API console are 12" wide. There's not a great way to make it any larger, other than to use up the space of a ninth channel

Meaning that there's space to shave the chassis down? I'd love to at least see what's in there. I'm surprised that I've been entirely unable to find any pics of the inside of the unit

Thanks. I was actually referring to the CD itself. For example, mine is "Rev B." I was wondering if you maybe had a "Rev C" so that it would be easily identifiable as an Intel version.

It appears that the only drawbacks to the Macbook is the limited screen size and the fact that the hard drive is only 5400 RPM.
