Thanks Bill! This must've been the problem. I've already restored my plugins folder using Time Machine & that has seemingly fixed the problem.

I'm having trouble with this as well. 1.6 must've installed with 10.3.4. Tried removing all related Hybrid files I could find, still can't install 1.5 because it says a newer version already exists...

I'm on 10.6.7 and PT HD 10.0.0 and some of my quick keys randomly stop working. Then they'll randomly start working again. I don't have that problem on my 10.6.8 / PT 9.0.5 rig.

I've had more problems recording to external drives than the internal system drive.

Although I use external drives, in 13 years I've never had a single issue recording to the system drive.

No problems here but the occasional "lost communication with device" error.

That'll end when my LaCie Thunderbolt eSATA hub arrives :)

Are you pulling down the trigger threshold for the sample?

I've found that if you pull the left one all the way down, then the middle one to where it recognizes only the transients you want to...

I was on a similar setup for approximately a year and don't recall any major problems. My interface was a MBox2 Pro and then a Focusrite Saffire PRO 24.

I was having the same problem on my MBP with Lion 10.7.2, PT 9.0.6, Logic 9.1.6, and my 003 Rack.

I ended up getting SL 10.6.8 installed and reverted to PT 9.0.5 and that fixed it.

The drivers...

It's been my experience that you can't import the Impulse Library all at once.

You have to import each .tls package one by one from inside the plugin.

I fixed it by having the Apple Store put Snow Leopard 10.6.8 on there.

Make sure you're not "online" and PT is waiting for sync. You can look at the Transport to make sure the "online" button isn't engaged.

I'll have to try reinstalling Logic and see if that does the trick.
