a cd rw isnt fast enough to do that.

you NEED 7200 rpm hardrive at least, most pro's use a 10,000 rpm scsi.
you can get a maxtor 30 gb hd for $150

then you can save money on the cdrw by not...

the 001 is 24/44.1

everything else coming out is 24/96
80% of us couldnt tell the difference, and in the real world nobody could(except maybe 1%)

sometimes if you give a free sample on mp3.com youll give people more piece of mind about buying your disc.

in a marketing decision they crippled the software for the 001 because with the fastest cpu's out there today you have as much if not more power(for plug ins...
