Re: Help on Windows for a Macintosh user

On a Mac, if you go to System Preferences / Universal Access / Mouse you can make the mouse pointer (and any tools chosen in Pro Tools) larger. You don't need to change the resolution of the monitor...

Re: Help on Windows for a Macintosh user

I'm trying to make every mouse tool bigger to help my buddy find them on the screen more easily. Some folks (like him and me) have good vision but can easily loose the little mouse pointer when it...

Smile Help on Windows for a Macintosh user

Hello to my Windows cousins!

I'm trying to help a friend who is using a Windows system and I want to give him some advice, but before I do, I want to make sure it will work (as it does on my...

No warnings on "too short" fades

Versions of PT previous to 9 had a warning dialog when the user attempted to make a fade in / out on a region that was shorter than 4 samples. Currently in PT9, if you try to make a fade in / out on...

Re: "Clear..." key command not working

So after 5 months of trying to get this to work (as well as upgrading to 10.6.7 and PT 9.0.3) I still can not get the ⇧⌘B (Shift+Command+B) to clear selected regions on my Macbook Pro.
Is there...

Re: My regions are doing naughty things! Seriously though, this is kind of weird...

My wave draw errors are a little more severe than just the top part of the waveform. I outlined my issue in this post (http://duc.avid.com/showthread.php?t=296989).

I'll assume that the issue is...

Re: System Usage window showing incorrect info

Actually, I have no idea if this issue is going to affect my session in any way. I like to assume that because I have Elastic audio turned off, none of my audio is running through any type of DSP,...

Re: Waveform draw errors in PT9

Sorry for the self bump, but this screen redraw bug is getting really annoying for me. Is DigiTechSupt seeing this anywhere else? Are any other users seeing any slow or incomplete redraws on any...

System Usage window showing incorrect info

First of all, I never use Elastic Audio and always have it turned off on every track;
Most of the time when running PT 9.0.1 on my MacBook Pro under 10.6.6, the System Usage window indicates some...

Waveform draw errors in PT9

When I am navigating on the main edit window, either by clicking in the scroll bars or using the page up/down buttons (or opt+page up/down), often the waveforms will not redraw properly. This is...

Re: "Clear..." key command not working

Is anyone out there running PT 9.0.1 / OS 10.6.6 on a MacBook Pro and experiencing this problem?

Re: Grid lines gone in 9.0.2

I can certainly understand you juggling a few things; currently I'm juggling 3 flaming bowling balls and someone is about to toss me a kitten, but I need to know if I should revert to 9.0.1 or if you...

Re: Grid lines gone in 9.0.2

Sorry to tell my story with screen grabs, but if you look at these 2 pictures, I think you'll get a much better idea of where I'm coming from.
Also, to be clear, I must always work in "slip" mode...

Re: Grid lines gone in 9.0.2

I've just reverted to 9.0.1 so I can't send you pics but let me explain the problem in detail (as I see it).

In 9.0.1 turning on the "Show Grid Lines" button would show grid lines on the edit page...

Thumbs down Re: Grid lines gone in 9.0.2

I'm seeing this too. Seems that the wonderful new feature of being able to see grid lines of a user specified value while in slip mode has been broken. Back to 9.0.1 for me.

I didn't find it particularly illuminating; I don't see any difference whether I use "Sessions Overwrite Current I/O Setup" or not.

I still have the dialog when opening a freshly purged/recreated...

Re: I/O weirdness

You seem to have hit the nail on the head here.
I get the report dialog when I have inputs saved to "No Input" but I don't get the report when I set all inputs to an existing input name.

I'll...

I/O weirdness

In a PT 9.0.1 session, I can completely delete all I/O paths and rebuild using the "Default" button. Then save, close the session, and reopen only to find this dialog;

Re: "Clear..." key command not working

Are any of your rigs Macbook Pro? I also have access to many different systems, but the Macbook Pro seems to be the only one with this problem.
