I could be wrong, but I believe you can use EITHER the analog 1+2 inputs OR the SPDIF input, so I dont think you would get any advantage in getting a spdif converter.

I couldn't install 7.0 on my machine without uninstalling 6.4. Wouldnt even let me start the installer.

Quick question for you, i have the same issue but havent resolved it yet... I thought the firm ware was being downloaded from the internet, so I left my net cards enabled
Is this not the case?...

One other question: I have one drive in my machine that DMA cannot be enabled. I don't plan on using that drive for anything Pro Tools is using... will that be an issue, or should...
