I've just installed Logic Pro X to try and wean myself off Pro Tools "just in case"! I started off on C-Lab creator all the way to Logic 6, paid a fortune out to keep that up to date, paid a fortune...

Once you’ve activated and installed Pro Tools, head over to the “Your Products” section in your Avid account to download and install the AIR Creative Collection.

I wonder how many on here came from the same roots as me. Started off on C-Lab Creator (Atari days) then Emagic Logic on the PC until it was bought by Apple who told us PC users to buy a Mac or p***...

@jbr yes shouldn't be a problem. Most ATX cases have the appropriate fixing points for smaller form factor motherboards.

I had distorted audio when I first built my system using a GA-EX58a ud5r, but using a seperate firewire card solved it. Now solid as a rock.
