Re: Visual presentation of used AUX-buses and routes

Btw, testing your advice, I have found out that there is a specific function making "Be sure to save your "Home" show/hide tracks to be able to get back to your default..". not needed.

And it's:...

Hi again!

Is there any such visualization of the used AUX-buses and routes, where one can clearly see what is already taken/used/reserved, but also where things go?

I am at the end of a...

Re: "Snap to grid" for clips and/or MIDI-notes, at the end instead of at the start.

Thanx BScout This will do for sure, until someone finds, remembers or figures out the lost knowledge albee1952 is mentioning.

For me, as Windows user it's:

"Snap to grid" for clips and/or MIDI-notes, at the end instead of at the start.

Hi again!

Sometimes, very sometimes, but sometimes – like today – I am working with an ending of a clip and note, in a way that I want to grab it with the Grabber-tool and snap it to the adjacent...

Re: Zoom to pre-selected elements with Play-back ON

Thanx, but no, it doesn't change anything. Nor do the other options around the "Link Timeline and Edit Selection" option. Maybe something has to be activated first, before doing what you suggested?

"Scroll into selection" suddenly working again :|

Hi again!

A quick reverse-engineering question.

Despite using Pro Tools since forever, sometimes one misses simple things. In this case:
How do I scroll into a selection in the edit window,...

Re: Xpand!2 changes interface display

Hi!

I've just naturally "spiraled" down into this thread, after encountering the same problem today.

I wouldn't care, like I didn't for 25 years, UNLESS this didn't also imply that one of the...

Hi again!

I was wondering if any of you have developed a reliable method, if any at all, to work with Pro Tools from a location other than where the entire setup is located.

Of course, I'm...

Re: Selecting a clip part on all tracks optionally including rulers

This is great, Bob! This is more or less exactly what I was asking about/for. (Btw, "more or less exactly"... Not a bad oxymoron :D)

I wonder if the need to group the tracks first is something...

No no, this is not what I meant. What you are saying is perfectly true, but I already know this. So imagine that you want to do what you just described, but at the same time simultaneously select all...

Re: Nudging the clip content without nudging the clip itself

Re: Alternative for jumping between different locations during ongoing playback.

Ok, I have researched this. Well, yes, it's an option, but it's too much wanking on the numeric pad. ",01," ",02," ",03," etc.

Unless it's possible to set/key-bind it to work with one-buton-push...
