The Dock has an IP address that has come from a router. You claim that its not connected to a router. Its a mystery as to why then it has that IP address.

You have some very strange IP addresses set up. Please make sure everything is set to DHCP, not static addresses. Make sure that you power cycle EVERYTHING with an changes.

Put the IGMP setting back to what it was. So now, is the Dock not showing at all in EuControl or showing on the left but not adding? Have you tied restarting all EUCON from the EuControl mini Icon...

Somethings not adding up. If you are connected this way then its impossible to get an IP address...which it is doing. The IP's of both the Dock and the Ethernet Port should be something like...

Also that Bonjour report shows the Dock has an IP of 192.168.x.x which means its connected to a router...not the way you say it is. Can you please try and only connect through a dumb switch to the...

You have pulled the power cable and fully power cycled it? Need the logs, right click EuControl and select Collect logs

Do you have a simple network switch around (not router)? If so can you plug the Dock into that and then from here into the Mac. Dont change anything else.

I think you are over complicating things.

Some notes:


The iPad (Avid Control) does not need to be on the same network as the Dock. EuControl can talk to both at the same time.
