Just make sure it's booting from the right drive. I remember having several different problems with the boot sequence being reset on my old Tyan Quad occasionally.

Yep. The issue, and the solution, were discussed extensively when 7.3 came out, and has been fixed in 7.3.1 (http://www.digidesign.com/index.cfm?navid=54&itemid=24453).

The current download (the one that was offered at initial release) actually includes 7.3cs1! The shipping version (physical CD) does not.

I was having a problem with 6088 errors in PT using the Tyan onboard firewire. I switched to my old Adaptec 4300 with the TI chipset and the problems ceased.

There are definitely different versions of the motherboard (which is probably why there are different BIOS versions of versions).

Mine came with the correct FireWire Connectors; there was no way...

I don't know about the delta cards, because I don't have one (or two), but I can tell you for sure that multiple firewire interfaces, and mix and match firewire USB interfaces does not work with...
