Read the Digi compat. docs at the link on this page... you must use a recommended FireWire card -- I always recommend the Adaptec 4300 which works perfectly for me.

The Shuttle AN35N is an ATX motherboard.. I used a Shuttle motherboard prior to my Asus P4C800 Deluxe.. and while it was okay.. it did have a few incompatibilities with a few plug-ins.
