ok - that seems to be the issue. I held shift and opened the session and it was fine. Is there any kind of report to find out what plug could suddenly be causing the crashes?

thanks much for the input - I've already trashed preferences with no luck. I'll try opening with plug ins off, great call. Is there a way to isolate the plug in by chance if that is causing?

Odd digital distortion

hey all -
I just mixed a track and put my WAVES Mastering Limiter across the buss and am getting a bizzare digital distortion coming out of my left speaker (and on all speakers that I switch to) ....

ok, googled it. Odd though that some song sessions run perfectly fine. Could that be the case with a card issue?

So it seems like there's a feature on that gives me a one bar click before the track even starts playing. Once it starts then it punches in as normal. Anyone know how to turn this "pre"...

I have a certain session that won't finish loading. It will generally get about halfway through the progress bar and inevitably get stuck at "activating inserts" on one track or another...
