I opened a support case directly with avid dafter registering my hardware and getting an asc number (extremely useful, do it ASAP as well at http://www.avid.com/US/support/asc/digidesign...

Really? I remember i read somewhere that pro tools 8 would be combatible with x64....that's a major drawback btw, why would they want me downgrading to the no-good 32bit version since m-audio is...

Nevermind, thanks for the replies. Just bought the 7.4 m-powered upgrade from the digistore but i really can't wait for the pro tools 8 as i am running vista x64
