i have the 200 connected correctly, i can insert the plug in on my insert and can control the the plug in with the 200 but it wont alter the sound in any way. there is a good signal going to the 200...

i just installed fxpansion to convert mx200 plug in to rtas. the plug in is now in my track inserts but when i open, the plug in opens and says mx not recognized. I have the digital in outs hooked up...

Yes. It was the software that came with the unit. I have downloaded it as well as the updated version from the Lexicon website.
