i´m trying to decide wich mac pro to buy, i´m looking into two models right now:
2* 2,26ghz quadcore
1* 3,33ghz quadcore
both with 8gb ram.

i´ve felt that to, with the malström. sometimes the rythm of the sound tends to be a bit different from time to time and those cases i did it just like you.

a friend of mine uses waves l3 on everything he does, he think it´s magical! well, he convinced me, i´m going to get it within a couple of months:D
but it´s not cheap, think it´s around 500-600usd....

yeah, i´m with keybeeetsss on this, most of the times i´ll go in dry, of course it depends what kind of plugs you´ve got, but it´s kind of nice having a clean sound and still havin all the options...

well thats good to know, thanks! i dont think i would buy one of the updated pro´s but getting a better deal sounds really interesting of course...money always had a tendency to set my pants on fire...

i feel it´s getting closer and closer to a mac pro. and it just hit me, pretty boring if the screen would get broken on an iMac..

yes, as i said, i think i want to continue that way but i wasn´t sure if what i heard was true, i.e. system on one drive and sessions on another, but that seems to be the case.
