Ive heard thet those "two out" cards are slow!!! Is this true?
Its not like we do video on it, just plain PT editing... Should we go for it? We need our meters "realtime" thoug... ;-)

I do not think you will need SCSI with 001 since it's (only) 24 tracks. But in the future? maybe,
but why don’t upgrade then? The fast IDE's on the marked now will do the job... I'm not so sure...

I have used PC the last 10-15 years, and Mac the last year... On the Mac I have worked on a MIX
24+ system on a daily basis, and have installed the 001 on G3/4 for some of my clients......

I finally got some info from my dealer as well.. Mix 24 (PCI) CAN use old (NUBUS) interfaces... Even the 882 can pass 24 bit through it's AES/EBU i/o
