So far it's only been a discussion amongst forum members. The best way to involve Avid is to send them a direct note. The more they hear from us the more likely they are to grease the wheel.

I don't get any jittering whatsoever and haven't since switching from HDMI to DisplayPort. Dell monitor, MacStudio Ultra w/ OS 14.5 and PT 2024.6. Other combos have been an issue but this one has not.

Me as well with Windows. I actually use the same monitor for Mac and Windows. I know I know... it's blasphemous!

4K, but it's a big one, and as mentioned I have it enlarged in Display Prefs. I don't know what resolution that equates to but it's no longer 4K.

I'm not sure why they're sticking to 1080p. I'm also curious to know how many PT users have 4K screens.

I think that if enough people chime in with a request it will get prioritized. It's worth trying. There are people at Avid who are paying attention to those things.

No one is excusing Avid, I was offering a method for improving the current GUI experience in lieu of a longterm fix, which may not come. I understand if it's not your preference but you don't need to...

I'd meant to ask the same question yesterday but the post got lost. Resizing options in the OS's Display settings change the game for 4K monitors. The default size is no bueno. Moving up just one...

It's not that it's difficult for them to implement the change, it's that it's difficult for the ProTools mix and edit windows to contain as much info as they do with font sizes larger than they are...
