Well, this post is getting longer and longer. My last try (and it is my last try) at the dverb 2 test got me 290 dverbs. That's not because of the test tone breaking up, it's because the audio device...

I'm looking at this MB on newegg and it shows Rev 1.
GIGABYTE GA-X58A-UD3R LGA 1366 Intel X58 SATA 6Gb/s USB 3.0 ATX Intel Motherboard
Are they shipping the Rev 2.

Is it really a concern?

I've noticed that people have bought a different cpu fan rather than go with the one that comes with say:
Intel Core i7-950 Bloomfield 3.06GHz 4 x 256KB L2 Cache 8MB L3 Cache LGA 1366 130W Quad-Core...

again, thanks for the help. Just as a comment, it seems the video cards that Avid recommends are a bit expensive. However, compared with the price of the other components I suppose it's not that bad....

In light of PT 8.0.4 and now PT 9 I'm looking at an I7 build. Please let me know if this looks like it will work. I used some of the suggestions from the beginning of this thread.
